Article title: A Case Report of Pancoast Tumor

Article abstract: In this article, a 66-year old man with a history of anterior chest wall, and shoulder and upper arm pain, was presented. Investigations revealed that a tumor was located in the right upper costovertebral groove that involved right apical lung, posterior sections of first three ribs, spinous process of first three thoracic vertebra, and second thoracic vertebral body. Surgery was performed without any complications. He was discharged with good general condition second week after the surgery. As superior sulcus tumors of non-small cell histology account for fewer than 5% of all bronchogenic carcinoma and most superior sulcus tumors are peripherally located, and pulmonary symptoms are rare, and the treatment of this kind of tumor is challenging, the report of this case is noteworthy.
