Mucinous cystadenoma of the appendix is a rare important disease which may be misdiagnosed as an ovarian cyst. Torsion of the appendix is a rare disorder which causes abdominal symptoms indistinguishable from acute appendicitis. Primary and secondary torsion are recongnized in the appendiceal torsion. Secondary torsion is caused by appendiceal abnormality, such as tumors and, is very rare. We report the case of a 61-years old female having secondary torsion of the appendix with mucinous cystadenoma. This case was presented with the acute abdominal pain which was compatible with symptoms of acute appendicitis, where histopathology revealed mucinous cyctadenoma. بدخیمی‌های موسینی آپاندیس گروهی هتروژن و اغلب بدون علامت می‌باشند. سیستادنومای موسینی آپاندیس یکی از انواع این تومورها است که ممکن است به اشتباه کیست تخمدان تشخیص داده شود. تورشن آپاندیس نیز یافته‌ای نادر بوده و تظاهرات اولیه بالینی آن از آپاندیست حاد قابل تمایز نمی‌باشد. تورشن می‌تواند اولیه یا ثانویه باشد. تورشن ثانویه نادر بوده و به دنبال اختلالات اولیه و تومورهای آپاندیس اتفاق می‌افتد. در این مقاله ما به گزارش خانم 61 ساله‌ای با تورشن ثانویه کیست آدنومای موسینی آ‌پاندیس می-پردازیم که با علائم بالینی شکم حاد مراجعه و در حین عمل تورشن توده آپاندیکولار تشخیص داده شد که گزارش هیستوپاتولوژی آن کیست آدنومای موسینی می‌باشد. https://ijs.ir/article_730568_51d1e1a9ef6984874ae80e4d386f933f.pdf
