A Case Report of Chilaiditi's Syndrome Diagnosis during a Cholecystectomy Laparascopic Surgery

Abstract
Interposition of the colon between the Liver and diaphragm has been called chilaiditi syndrome. Usually the condition is asymptomatic in adults, but symptoms are evident in children and include vomiting, abdominal pain, anorexia, constipation, aerophagia. In examination, clinical sings were, abdominal distention and absence of liver dullness. In this article a 39-year old woman with cholelithiasis has been introduced that has undergone cholecystectomy Laparascopic surgery. During the surgery, the interposition of portion of the transvers colone between diaphragm and Liver was observed. The main goal of this report is the importance and value of laparascopic method in the diagnosis of chilaiditi syndrome.
