Abstract
I am a retired professor of surgery at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. With a long history of surgery in university and private hospital departments and forty years of teaching experience to students, interns, and residents. Also, constant attendance at conferences, seminars, and congresses both domestic and foreign, and active participation in weekly conferences at Sina Hospital until March 2016. In meetings, hearings, and conversations with officials and heads of surgical departments, I realized that they are not very satisfied with the presence of emergency medicine specialists in university departments and do not see it as very useful.
