Abstract
Since the duty of the press is to enlighten the thoughts and correct the writing problems as well as the medical materials. Therefore, he presents: In memory of Dr. Mirdamadi, who was a professor and founder of his field at the university, as well as a writer and fluent in several foreign languages, in a pamphlet he wrote years ago about the equivalence of foreign medical words, he explained this way about the word colon (colon). According to his research, the word Klon is Persian and its pronunciation in Farsi is Koloon; Because the clone was similar to the rather large wooden keys and locks that were in old houses or garden doors. Because on its outer surface there were depressions similar to the folds of the large intestine, and it had a handle key with a right angle that resembled half of the clone. Later, when Ibn Sina's medical books were taught in Europe, this word went to the West and was pronounced Kolon there. This word also went from Europe to Arab countries and was pronounced Ghooloon, and then some people have translated it!! (translated into Farsi!) and they write a colon. Therefore, it is appropriate to keep it in mind and always write clones, considering its origin and origin, which is Persian.
