Abstract
Spinal and epidural anesthesia are commonly used in various types of surgery. Their safety is confirmed, however, sometimes serious complications seems to be related to these procedures. Postural puncture headache is the most common side effect, which usually changes when patients change position and recovers spontaneously. However, headache following Dura Puncture can also be an early sign of a subdural hematoma formation and it should be considered as a risk factor. Failure to respond to proven medical treatments as well as changes in the patterns of headache, along with other neurologic symptoms, the patient should be suspected of subdural hematoma.it is a rare but fatal complication with neurologic deficits, if not diagnosed early.
