Abstract
Digital technologies have entered every aspect of human life and revolutionized various industries and domains. Health sector have also been affected but to a lesser extent. However, it is believed that health will be encompassed by digital transformation, sooner or later. In this article we are discussing this issue as well as available digital technologies in surgery, concluding whether or not we should look for digital transformation in the field of surgery.
