عوارض زنجبیل خوراکی در جراحی و بیهوشی

چکیده
زنجبیل گیاهی است که با توجه به خواص متعدد درمانی به طور گسترده‌ای در طب مکمل استفاده می‌شود. در متون معتبر طب جدید و طب مکمل خواصی از قبیل ضد تهوع و استفراغ، ضد التهابی، تسکین درد، ضد میگرن، تقویت حافظه و ... را برای مصرف این گیاه به صورت خوراکی ذکر کرده‌اند. در صورتی که بیمار به دلیل عادات غذایی و یا به صورت فرآورده‌های دارویی گیاهی قبل از اعمال جراحی و بیهوشی به میزان مشخصی از این گیاه به صورت خوراکی مصرف کرده باشد، می‌تواند عوارض و آثار بالقوه مهمی مانند تشدید خونریزی و ضد دردی در زمان بیهوشی یا جراحی داشته باشد. در این مطالعه نحوه عملکرد و اثرات جانبی و نیز نکات هشدار دهنده‌ای که پزشکان جراح و بیهوشی در رابطه با این گیاه و این دو اقدام مهم پزشکی باید بدانند، با توجه به متون معتبر طب سنتی ایران، گیاهان دارویی طب جدید و مقالات چاپ شده در مجلات معتبر مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است.
