چکیده
BIA-ALCL یک لنفوم نادر cell T پستان که از سال 1997 توصیف شد، می‌باشد. همراهی این نوع لنفوم پستان با پروتز (ایمپلنت) پستان اثبات شده و تقریباً اکثر موارد بیماری در پروتزهای Textured مشاهده شده است. بعد از گزارش FDA در مورد این بیماری در سال 2011، سازمان‌ها و نهادهای دولتی و بین المللی در مـورد انسدانس، روش‌های تشخیـص و درمان آن تحقیـق کـرده‌اند. در حال حاضر حدود 500 BIA-ALCL در دنیا گزارش شده است. اغلب موارد بیماری به دنبال ایجاد سرومای تأخیـری (بعد از یک سال) در اطراف پروتز پستان (به صورت شایعتر) و یا ایجاد توده پستان (بصورت نادرتر) ایجاد می‌گردد. در صورت شک به BIA-ALCL ابتدا تصویربرداری‌هایی مانند PET، سی تی اسکـن یا سونوگرافی انجـام می‌گردد و سپس آسپیراسیون با سوزن یا نمونه‌برداری از کپسول انجام می‌گردد و جهت بررسی پاتولوژی ارزیابی می‌شود. در صورت اثبات تشخیص کپسولوتومی کامل و برداشتن پروتز پستان در این بیماران اندیکاسیون دارد.
